Dubai officially entered summer. The temperature is gradually rising across the region. With that, most outdoor attractions in the city are gradually shutting down temporarily for the summer. Some are pausing operations to begin with the seasonal maintenance. But others are temporarily closing down for renovations. Six attractions in the city are already closed or are about to close soon:
Summer Break Announced for these Attractions
Dubai’s famous Garden Glow Park recently finished its 10th season this month. But it is shutting down and relocating to a new destination. Garden Glow will come up with something exciting for the visitors. So, it will reopen soon from a new location.
- Dubai Fountain
The spectacular Dubai Fountain is one of the famous landmarks in the city. It has been entertaining the crowd with its spectacular dancing fountain shows. But it finally shut down on April 19 for the renovations. The maintenance will bring overall changes in lighting, sound, and choreography. Furthermore, one of the latest announcements by Dubai Mall stated that Dubai Fountain will be up and about by October 2025.
- Ripe Market
Dubai’s Ripe Market is a hidden gem. It is a community-driven business and is famous for selling fresh produce. Moreover, you will also find local fashion and artisanal goods here. Ripe Market will shut down for the season from 11th May.
Didn’t get the chance to visit Global Village after that memorable New Year’s Eve celebration? Well, hurry up, as Global Village Dubai will be closing for the summer. Their Season 29 will end this year on May 11.

Dubai’s famous wildlife adventure park is set to serve its final days for this season. But it will shut down from June 1 for the summer. Hurry up!
