How to cancel UAE travel ban: 5 important steps to follow

Dubai: Tight and strict measures have been administered by UAE officials that suggests UAE visa holders to book round trips along with carrying Dh 3,000 with them.

There are times when UAE visa holders have immigration issues and or may have a connection to legal issues. This would certainly apply travel ban on the individual and also penalize them according to the legal cases. Individuals having problems with loans and credit cards are also issued a travel ban for the purpose.

It is always important to check for the travel ban online and opt for a cancellation of the process. There are 5 distinct steps to check the process and are as follows:

  • Visit the Ministry of Justice website and login using the proper UAE credentials. If you have not login before, then registering on the portal would be the first step.
  • After logging in to the portal, check for the “Case Management” tab. A link would be available with the name “Cancellation Request of Travel Ban Order”. Click on the link.
  • After continuing to the page, check for the “My Cases” tab that has all the details of the cases and legal issues stated here.
  • All the cases can be checked around the portal with a cancel option for each case being depicted here.
  • Individuals can request cancellation while paying for the cancellation fees online here.

Things to note

The Ministry of Justice may take up to five working days to process the travel ban cancellation order online.

It is also mandatory to display the original documents during the cancellation of travel ban across UAE.

Latest Systems

A new-age system has been developed which checks for the individual’s distinct judicial cases and cancels them properly after the payment of the cancellation fees online.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department have come up with a new system that checks for the payments of individuals and once checked, cancels the orders instantly. After proper surveillance, the approval is sent to the concerned authorities.

Smart Apps are available for individuals missing on payments and notifying them during regular intervals. Individuals can also download a digital copy of the form and present them to the authorities when and where it is required.
