How to Extend Your Visa to Dubai from Thailand

Is your Dubai visa nearing expiry? You needn’t worry as there’s an easy solution to the issue. You’ll only need to act before your visa has expired. There are two options available to you. You may take a bus to Oman and stay there while your visa is processed in the United Arab Emirates Embassy. You’ll need to share the exit stamp on your passport with the immigration authorities as proof that you did indeed exit the UAE.

The other option is the airport-to-airport method. This method requires you to exit the UAE and travel to any neighboring country. You’ll simply need to share your proof of exiting the UAE and wait at the airport in the neighboring country. Your visa gets processed at the United Arab Emirates Embassy in just 4-5 hours. If you continue staying in Dubai after your visa has expired, it’s considered overstaying. You shall be fined 467.44 Thai Baht (AED 50) on your first day of overstay and 233.61 Thai Baht (AED 25) thereafter for every single day you continue staying before renewing your visa.
