3 Nights Almaty Tour Day-wise Itinerary

On arrival in Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, you will be greeted at the airport and assisted with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle in.

In the evening, head to Kok Tobe Hill, a recreational park that offers panoramic views of the city. Reach the hilltop by a scenic cable car ride, where you can also spot the tallest TV tower in the world. Later, enjoy a short ride on the famous Almaty cableway that brings you back from the hilltop to the city center.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a guided Almaty city tour. Explore some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, the colorful Zenkov Cathedral, the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, Arbat Street, the Square of the Republic, and the Monument of Independence, along with other highlights that showcase the city’s charm.

Later, continue to Medeo, the world’s largest high-mountain skating rink, followed by a visit to the Shymbulak Mountain Resort. Take a scenic cable car ride from Medeo up to Shymbulak and enjoy the fresh mountain air and spectacular views at this popular ski resort.

In the evening, visit the Falcon Farm for a unique experience watching specially trained hawks in action, a fascinating tradition rooted in Kazakhstan’s culture. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin an early morning journey around 7:00 AM towards two of Kazakhstan’s most stunning natural wonders. The first stop is Charyn Canyon, a spectacular geological formation in Charyn National Park, often compared to the Grand Canyon for its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking views.

Continue onwards to the enchanting Kolsai Lakes, a series of alpine lakes nestled in the northern Tien Shan mountains. Known for their crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings, these lakes offer a serene escape into nature’s beauty.

Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, depending on your flight schedule. After check-out, you will be transferred to the airport for your return journey. With wonderful memories of your Almaty adventure, depart for your onward flight.
