Drawing inspiration from the ‘Pa-Ta-Pea’ Clan (Earth), a community of farmers, fishermen, gardeners, carpenters, blacksmiths and miners who believed being connected to the earth was good for health. Their homes were built at ground level, and earth was part of the walls, the roofs and the furniture, with even the beds made from soil and clay.
7 one-bedroom villas | 140 m² | Pool size: 30 m² | Maximum 2 guests
Inspired by the ‘Khon-Jorn’ Clan (Wanderers), an adventurous group of foragers, herders, performers, traders and explorers. With a nomadic way of life, they preferred semi-permanent homes that were easy to move from place to place, and this inspired the distinctive tent-like design of the villas.
7 one-bedroom villas over two floors | 169 m² | Pool size: 25 m² | Maximum 4 guests
The idea for these villas is taken from the‘We-Ha’ Clan (Sky), who built their homes high up among the trees. Their homes were up there so their minds could stay free and full of ideas. The clan was made up of creators, architects, inventors, healers and geologists. The villas give the feel of homes suspended in the trees, and some of the furnishings use suspension as a design feature.
8 one-bedroom villas | 185 m² | Pool size: 30 m² | Maximum 3 guests
These villas are inspired by the ‘Rung-Nok’ Clan (Nest), whose members valued exclusivity and an opulent lifestyle. The clan was associated with artists, musicians, poets, philosophers and astrologers, who believed that moonlight bathing replenished the soul, and their woven, nest-like design reflects this. Views from the villas may include partial sea, resort and jungle scenery.
2 one-bedroom villas with one separate retreat room | 180 m² | Pool size: 24 m² | Maximum 2 guests
When its about holistic wellness, these villas does the job very well. Each one comes with a master bedroom and one separate retreat room, which is used for private massage, yoga or meditation. And if you look at the design, you will see organic curves, warm earth tones and earthy textures, since the inspiration is taken from the rainforest that surrounds it.
Every villa comes with a private pool and an outdoor terrace. Inside you will find an interactive 42-inch LED TV with a media hub, a traditional coffee maker, a larder and a personal safe also. For your comfort there are bathrobes, 100% natural toiletries which are locally sourced, a hair dryer and a make-up mirror.
The location is in the woodlands on the west coast of Phuket, overlooking Kamala village and away from the crowds. Here you get calm rainforest surroundings, but at the same time Patong is also close enough, so whenever you want some liveliness it is not far.
Phuket International Airport is around 45 minutes away by car.
