Itinerary Details

DAY 1- Pickup from UAE and Transfer to Salalah, Oman

Your day 1 adventure begins with a comfortable evening pickup at 6:00 PM from Dubai (Stadium Lulu) and at 7:30 PM from Al Ain (Bawadi Mall), followed by border formalities as you exit the UAE and enter Oman. En route, you’ll stop at Barrari Mall for a short fresh-up break and dinner (on your own).

DAY 2- Arrival at Salalah with Half Day Tour

Arrive at Salalah. Enjoy a buffet breakfast before checking in at the Samharam Hotel. After some leisure time, relish a buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant. After that, set out on a half-day tour visiting Mughsail Beach, the serene Ain Razat spring, and the vibrant Haffa Souq for traditional shopping. Finally, drop-off to the hotel in the evening. Spend some leisure time and sit for a delicious buffet dinner at the hotel. Enjoy overnight stay.

DAY 3- Wadi Darbat And Jabal Samhan Tour

The 3rd day features a full-day nature and mountain tour. So, energize yourself with a fulfilling breakfast. Depart at 8:30 AM (pickup from the hotel) to explore the fascinating Anti-Gravity Point, the panoramic heights of Jebel Samhan, and the picturesque Wadi Darbat. Here, you can enjoy an optional boat ride (on a shared basis and payable directly). A packed lunch will be served amidst nature, followed by a visit to the beautiful Ayn Athum Waterfalls. In the evening, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 4- Salalah Tour and Departure

Recharge yourself with a complimentary breakfast at the hotel. After that, delve into Salalah’s spiritual and historical side with visits to Cheraman Perumal’s Tomb and the Nabi Ayoub’s Tomb. Return to the Samharam Hotel for lunch. After a hearty lunch, check out and begin the return journey to Dubai. En route, there will be a dinner stop at Haima Restaurant (at your own expense).

DAY 5- Arrival at the UAE

The 5th day marks the end of your enriching journey as you arrive back in Dubai by 7:00 AM, carrying cherished memories of Salalah’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Safety Guidelines for Tourists Traveling to Salalah during Khareef

  • Heed Warning from Authorities: Always Listen to and follow any warnings or advisories issued by local authorities. These alerts are meant to keep you safe from potential hazards such as accidents, waterlogging, landslides or unsafe areas.
  • Avoid Swimming in springs: Although the springs look inviting, they can be dangerous due to strong currents, varying depths and hidden rocks. Swimming in these waters is not at all advisable.
  • Slippery Roads: The monsoon rains make roads in Salalah slippery and treacherous. Advisable to exercise caution while driving, especially on curved and steep inclines, ensure your vehicles tyres & Brakes are in excellent condition to handle wet road conditions effectively.
  • Mosquito Bites: The monsoon season often brings an increase in mosquitoes. Protect yourself by using insect repellent and wearing long sleeves and pants while visiting tourist spots.
  • Avoid Rough Sea: The monsoon can make the sea rough and dangerous for swimming or boating. It is best to stay away from the water during this time to avoid accidents.
  • Khareef brings intermittent rainfall and misty conditions. Be prepared by wearing waterproof clothing, including a sturdy rain jacket, umbrella and waterproof shoes. This will help you stay dry and comfortable as you explore the misty landscapes and navigate potentially slippery surfaces.
  • Entry to Oman is subject to approval by the Omani government.
  • Dependent visa holders without sponsors must apply for an Oman visa in advance.
  • Visit visa holders and those on visa change status are not permitted to join this Salalah trip.
  • It’s advisable to carry snacks, juice, and water for children to ensure their comfort during the journey.
  • Avoid bringing expensive items like jewelry or laptops. The tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
  • Carry original Emirates ID and passport during travel.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months, and Emirates ID should be valid for at least 3 months from the date of return from Salalah.
  • Keep all documents secure and easily accessible throughout the trip.
