Your day starts with a relaxed breakfast, and then you head out to explore Almaty in a way that feels easy and interesting, not rushed. The first stop is First President Park, a calm green space where you get clear views of the Tian Shan mountains in the background, perfect for some nice photos and a peaceful start.

As you move through the city, you pass by Republic Square, a place that shows the pride and history of Kazakhstan in a very simple but strong way. A quick stop at the State Opera and Ballet Theatre gives you a look at one of the city’s most beautiful buildings, and it is hard not to take a picture here. The museums at the Academy of Sciences add a bit of depth to your day, giving you a closer look at the country’s culture and past without feeling too heavy.

You then spend some time around Abay Square, a lively cultural spot, before stopping for photos near Kazakhstan Hotel and the Palace of the Republic, both quite well-known in the city. Later, Panfilov Park brings a quieter moment, with its open space and meaningful war memorial. The highlight for many is the Zenkov Cathedral, a colorful wooden church built without nails, which really stands out and feels unique.
