Passengers are fully responsible for having the correct passport and visa for their trip. If your visa is rejected, this is decided by immigration authorities, and Smart Travel is not responsible for any such rejections.

Safety Guidelines for Tourists Visiting Salalah during Khareef

Always listen to local authorities and follow any warnings. These are there to keep you safe from dangers like flooding, landslides, or unsafe areas.
The springs may look beautiful but can be dangerous because of strong currents, changing depths, and hidden rocks. Avoid swimming in them.
Monsoon rains make roads very slippery. Drive carefully, especially on curves and hills. Make sure your car’s tires and brakes are in excellent condition.
There are more mosquitoes during Khareef. Use insect repellent and wear long sleeves and pants when you’re outdoors.
The sea can be very dangerous for swimming or boating during the monsoon. Stay away from the water to prevent accidents.
Expect rain and misty weather. Wear waterproof clothes, a sturdy rain jacket, and waterproof shoes, and carry an umbrella to stay dry and comfortable.

SPECIAL NOTES

Entry permits depend on approval from the Oman government.
Dependent visa holders without sponsors must apply for an Oman visa.
Visitors on a tourist visa or visa change are not allowed on Salalah trips.

Keep valuables safe. It’s best not to carry expensive items like jewelry or laptops to avoid loss or theft.
Always carry your original Emirates ID and passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months, and your Emirates ID must be valid for at least 3 months from the date you leave Salalah. Keep your documents safe while you enjoy your trip.
