Your journey begins as you land at Baku International Airport and complete your visa on arrival process. After a warm meet and greet, you head straight into the city to start exploring without wasting time. The first stop takes you to Highland Park, where you get a wide view of Baku and the Caspian Sea that instantly sets the mood for the trip. As you move ahead, you pass by the Flame Towers, those tall glowing buildings that really stand out in the city skyline.
Later, you step into the Old City, where the vibe changes completely with narrow streets and historic spots like Maiden Tower and Shirvanshah Palace that tell stories from the past. It feels like walking through a different time. After a good start to your trip, you are transferred to your hotel for check-in and a relaxed overnight stay.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore beyond the city. Today takes you around the Absheron Peninsula, where history and natural wonders come together in a very different way. Your first stop is the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a place once used for fire worship, where the calm surroundings and old structure make it feel quite special.
Next, you visit Yanar Dag, also called the Burning Mountain, where flames have been coming out of the ground for years and continue to burn. It is simple but quite surprising to see in real life. As you continue, you head towards the mud volcanoes, where the land looks unusual with bubbling mud pools, making it one of those rare sights you don’t see every day.
On the way back, you stop at Bibi-Heybat Mosque, set near the Caspian Sea, perfect for a quick photo with a peaceful backdrop. After a full day, you return to Baku and head back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
After breakfast, get ready for a change of scene as you drive towards Shahdag Mountain Resort. The journey itself feels refreshing as the city slowly fades and mountain views start taking over. Once you reach the place opens up with wide landscapes and clean air that instantly feels different from Baku.
You can take an optional cable car ride here, which gives you a smooth lift up with beautiful views all around, making it one of those moments you just want to pause and enjoy. If you are visiting in the right season, there are snow activities like skiing or snowboarding that add a bit of fun and adventure to the day. Even if not, the calm surroundings and open views make it perfect for photos and just relaxing for a while.
After spending a good amount of time in the mountains, you head back to Baku by evening and return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, the day is completely yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can step out and explore Nizami Street, where the vibe is lively with shops, lights, and people all around, making it a fun place to just walk and browse. If you feel like slowing things down, a visit to Baku Boulevard by the Caspian Sea gives you a calm stretch to walk, sit, and take in the view.
You can also choose to visit a few museums or relax at a cosy café, just soaking in the local feel of the city. For those who want to unwind, a spa or traditional hammam experience can be a good way to relax and recharge. It is an easy day where you do as much or as little as you like. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, it is time to wrap up your trip. You complete the check-out process at the hotel and get ready for your journey back. A transfer will take you to Baku Airport, giving you some last views of the city on the way. With a mix of city sights, natural spots, and relaxed moments, the trip comes to an end on a smooth note as you head back home.
